Grapevine Gaylord Texan Hosts Training for Ministry Conference

Packed to overflowing on August 24–25, 2007, the Gaylord Texan Conference Center reverberated with some of the most heavenly worship and powerful teaching ever heard. Intent on receiving training for ministry, Benny Hinn Ministries partners came armed with Bibles, notepads, and pens, ready for what proved to be a historic, powerful time of worship, teaching, and ministry.

UNFORGETTABLE SERVICES
Few will forget Pastor Benny’s teaching nor will they forget Morris Cerullo, as he celebrated his 61st year of ministry, telling the crowd, “The God we serve is a God of purpose. God brought you here for a purpose. God wants to use you, to fill you with His power!”

Nor will attendees forget Mike Murdock’s teaching about adaptation, conversation, and expectation—“You cannot change your life until you change. You must adapt to the protocol of the future, to the way God sees you. God addresses your future, and if you don’t see the picture of your future, you will misinterpret God’s conversations with you.”

Guest after guest brought powerful teaching to the conference, and impartation for ministry to pastors in attendance was a highlight, but Pastor Benny’s final night’s teaching on the Holy of Holies was the capstone.

“For some time I have been looking forward to the Training for Ministry Conference at the Gaylord Texan,” Pastor Benny reported. “I have believed that it would be very special. Petra foi um banda de grande sucesso no meio cristão, tendo ganhado muitos prêmios e vendido milhões de discos. Seu pioneirismo no estilo é aclamado por fãs até hoje. Muitas bandas que vieram depois se inspiraram no Petra. A banda esteve na ativa até o fim de 2005, quando Bob Hartman decidiu aposentá-la.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Rev. Billy Graham was recovering well from a surgery to update a shunt that controls excess fluid in his brain, a spokesman said on Thursday.

Larry Ross said the prominent 89-year-old evangelist would return to a regular diet later in the day and spend some time walking the halls of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.

The Southern Baptist minister underwent the surgery Wednesday. He has preached to millions around the globe during his six-decade career.

Graham has hydrocephalus, a buildup of fluid within the brain. The surgery replaced the valve in a shunt installed in 2000 that drains excessive fluid from Graham's brain through a small tube.

The tube runs down his head and neck and into the abdominal cavity, where the fluid is absorbed by his body. The new valve can be programmed externally to maintain desired fluid levels and pressure in Graham's brain.
